Amazon price monitoring for brands and sellers

How many sellers compete on each of your Amazon listings, who's cheaper and since when. Seller-level price tracking for Amazon and Walmart Marketplace.

On Amazon you don't compete against brands: you compete against sellers. The same product is often offered by dozens of them, each with its own price and fulfillment, and most brands underestimate that number by a factor of three or four. Turbodato tracks each of your products against every offer that competes with it, with the seller's name and the price history, and alerts you when someone undercuts you.

It's built for brands selling on Amazon and Walmart Marketplace, and for sellers with their own catalog who need to know, product by product, where they stand.

Every seller on each Amazon listing, checked against your MAP. This is the wall of sellers you'd otherwise track by hand.

What it solves

How many sellers compete on each product. The first number we show you, and almost always the one that surprises. A product with three sellers and one with forty call for different moves.

Who's cheaper, and since when. Today's snapshot says little. What matters is whether the seller below you is running a two-day promo or has been repositioned for three weeks, and whether the gap is widening. That comes from the price history per offer.

Your channel, if you're a brand. For a brand, the sellers listing your product are part of your channel. Seller-level tracking shows who breaks your MAP, since when and by how much, which is what you need to enforce your policy. See MAP monitoring.

Beyond Amazon. If you also sell on Walmart, Target, Best Buy or your own store, the same board covers those channels. That's what tells you whether a gap on Amazon is about the marketplace or about the whole market.

The matching problem

On Amazon the same product shows up as several listings, in packs of different sizes, in bundles with accessories, or as "compatible with". If a tool compares your offer against a 3-pack or a generic replacement part, every gap it reports is wrong and the dashboard turns into noise.

That's why we match your catalog ourselves before the board goes live, starting with GTIN/UPC and manufacturer part numbers and reviewing the doubtful cases by hand. If you'd rather set it up yourself, the price monitoring guide covers the whole process.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give you access to my Seller Central account?

No. Turbodato works with publicly listed prices, visible to anyone who visits the same listings you do. You don't need to connect your account or share sales or margins.

Does it show how much my competitors sell?

No. It records the price, conditions and seller of each offer. Sales volume estimates are what market research tools do; if that's what you need, that's the right category of product.

Does it work on Walmart Marketplace too?

Yes. Walmart Marketplace has the same structure (several sellers on one listing) and the monitoring works the same way, recording the seller as well as the price.

How do I find out when someone drops their price?

With exception-based alerts, by email or webhook: for example, "tell me if a seller lists more than 5% below my price for more than two days". The channel rarely goes off, and gets read when it does.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the number of products and the scope, so it's quoted for your case. To start, request the free price report: send us a link to your store or your Amazon listings and within 24 hours we'll tell you how many sellers compete with you and who's cheaper.
